A fine chemical wastewater treatment project in Tai'an
Tai'an Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. is located in the Tai'an Chemical Industry Park. The company was founded in 2016 and mainly produces 9,10-dihydro-9-oxa-10-phosphorus phenanthrene-10-oxide, allyl polyethylene glycol acrylate, and 2-phenoxyethyl acrylate. The sewage treatment plant of this project has a scale of 500 tons/day, and the wastewater has high COD, ammonia nitrogen, and salt content, and poor biodegradability.

Water quality indicators | PH | CODCr | BOD5 | Ammonia nitrogen | saltness |
Inflow value (mg/L) | 2~3 (Non dimensional) | ≤13500 | ≤3000 | ≤350 | ≤5000 |

The project adopts a combination of physical and chemical pretreatment, biochemical treatment, and advanced treatment to treat wastewater. Among them, the physicochemical pre-treatment adopts oil separation precipitation, Fenton, micro electrolysis, and flocculation precipitation processes. Through the oil separation precipitation process, the floating oil and easily settling substances in the water are initially removed, and then the Fenton micro electrolysis advanced oxidation process is carried out to decompose the large molecule difficult to degrade substances in the water into easily degradable small molecule substances, improving the biodegradability of the sewage and reducing the subsequent biochemical treatment load. The biochemical process adopts UASB+A/O process, which can basically meet the discharge standards after being treated in the biochemical section. Considering the fluctuation of sewage, the effluent from the biochemical section is subjected to advanced treatment, and the Fenton+flocculation sedimentation process is used for advanced treatment to further ensure that the effluent meets the standards. If the effluent from the biochemical section has already met the standards, it can exceed the advanced treatment section.
