Black Odor River Treatment

The black and odorous river body is caused by organic pollution in the water environment that exceeds its self-purifying capacity. The aerobic decomposition of organic matter causes the rate of oxygen consumption in the water to exceed the rate of reoxygenation, resulting in oxygen deficiency, incomplete and slow degradation of organic matter. The anaerobic biodegradation process generates odorous substances such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, and mercaptan, while also forming black matter, causing black and odorous phenomena in the water body. On the premise of ensuring effective control of garbage cleaning and external pollution, the overall construction process is shown in the following figure.

Step 1: Add mineral repair agents to the black and odorous river channel to quickly eliminate the black and odorous smell;
Step 2: Install a micro bubble generator in the target river channel to change the anaerobic environment of the river channel, decompose and digest pollutants in the water and sediment;
Step 3: Add biological activators to the river channel to activate the activity of indigenous microorganisms in the water and sediment in situ, improve the abundance and quantity of microbial populations, increase the metabolic intensity of pollutants, and clarify water quality;
Step 4: Install an ecological floating island, utilizing the growth of plants and the activity of microorganisms in the filler to achieve nitrogen and phosphorus removal and water quality purification;
Step 5: After the water environment quality of the target water body has been improved to some extent, a certain amount of native aquatic animal will be added to the water body to optimize the structure of the water ecosystem, promote the material circulation and energy flow of the system, and improve the self purification capacity of the water environment;
Step 6: Water monitoring and maintenance.
