New reform of flame retardant wastewater treatment: resource recovery and cost reduction by homogeneous membrane electrodialysis

In the complex industrial process of flame retardant production, it is inevitable to produce low concentration sodium bromide wastewater. In the face of this situation, the use of homogeneous membrane electrodialysis device has become an efficient solution. Thanks to the principle of its sophisticated membrane separation technology, the unit separates sodium bromide from other components in the wastewater and successfully gradually concentrates the sodium bromide content from the initial 1.5% to more than 15%.


When the wastewater reaches this desired concentration level, it is introduced into the evaporation unit in an orderly manner.
